Hey Book Nerds. ^.^ How are you all doing today? :) I'm feeling a tiny bit better - so thanks to those of you who wished me wellness, I really appreciate it. :) I posted my January 2013 wrap-up earlier, because I forgot to post it when I uploaded my YouTube video for my wrap-up. (^^; Because I'm silly..) So if you want to see what books I read last month and what rating I gave them, just scroll down! Links to any reviews I did of the books are also posted! :D Lastly, I’ve already hit 60 followers! Crikey! xD I think it must be to do with my Giveaway that’s going on, but I don’t mind. :D Maybe when I hit 100 blog followers I’ll do another giveaway. :)

Title: The Trouble With Flirting.
Author: Claire LaZebnik.
Publisher: Harper Teen.
Expected Publication: February 26th, 2013.
Format: Paperback, 288 pages.

Franny's supposed to be working this summer, not flirting. But you can't blame her when guys like Alex and Harry are around. . .

Franny Pearson never dreamed she'd be attending the prestigious Mansfield Summer Theater Program. And she's not, exactly. She's working for her aunt, the resident costume designer. But sewing her fingers to the bone does give her an opportunity to spend time with her crush, Alex Braverman. If only he were as taken with the girl hemming his trousers as he is with his new leading lady.

When Harry Cartwright, a notorious flirt, shows more than a friendly interest in Franny, she figures it can't hurt to have a little fun. But as their breezy romance grows more complicated, can Franny keep pretending that Harry is just a carefree fling? And why is Alex suddenly giving her those deep, meaningful looks? In this charming tale of mixed messages and romantic near-misses, one thing is clear: Flirting might be more trouble than Franny ever expected.

First off, I would like to say, I'm not that keen on this cover - although it did have great potential. The photo is gorgeous and I love the typography, but I hate how the bottom half is boxed off in white - it looks like it's not been finished properly. Apart from that, I love it. ^.^ As for the book, I think it looks fantastic! I'm always a sucker for a good contemporary book. :P The synopsis kind of reminds me of The DUFF by Kody Keplinger, which I read last year and LOVED - it was my all time favourite read of 2012 - so I reckon I'm going to love this one when it's released! ^.^

What are you "Waiting On" this Wednesday? Leave me a comment or a link to your blog post and I'll be sure to check it out! :D Happy Reading. (:

  2. Looks good. Can't say I like love triangles, because 9 times out of 10, I usually like the guy the girl doesn't end up with. I don't think I've ever had that problem with a love triangle involving two girls and a guy...
