Friday Finds #31

Friday finds is a meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading which showcases the books you've recently ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list.

Hey Book Nerds! :D I hope you're all doing well. ^.^ I've been doing a little tweaking on the blog over the last day or two, subtly changing things - so if anything is different, that's why. :P I've also added a 'Follow This Blog Via Bloglovin' button - so if you're signed up with Bloglovin' don't forget to follow me via that if you like. ^.^ I'm also thinking about changing my blog header to something different - what do you guys think? Let me know! I hope you've all had a great week - keep an eye out for a Blog Tour review that'll be posted tomorrow. :)

Friday Finds

Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas.
Meet Celaena Sardothien.
Beautiful. Deadly. Destined for greatness.
In the dark, filthy salt mines of Endovier, an eighteen-year-old girl is serving a life sentence. She is a trained assassin, the best of her kind, but she made a fatal mistake: she got caught. Young Captain Westfall offers her a deal: her freedom in return for one huge sacrifice. Celaena must represent the prince in a to-the-death tournament—fighting the most gifted thieves and assassins in the land. Live or die, Celaena will be free. Win or lose, she is about to discover her true destiny. But will her assassin’s heart be melted?

Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
Every other day, Kali D'Angelo is a normal sixteen-year-old girl. She goes to high school. She argues with her father.
She's human.
But every other day... she's not.
Though she's not quite sure what she is on those days, Kali knows what she does – she hunts, traps, and kills demons, hellhounds, and other supernatural creatures that threaten her world. On those days, she is practically indestructible. But when Kali notices a mark on a popular girl at school, she knows instantly that the girl is marked for death by one of these unworldly beings. And she knows she only has twenty-four hours to save her.

Are U 4 Real? by Sara Kadefors.
Kyla is exactly the kind of girl Alex could never talk to in real life. She's a gorgeous, outspoken L.A. girl who parties to forget about her absent father and depressed mother. He's a shy ballet dancer from outside San Francisco who's never been kissed. Luckily, when these sixteen-year-olds meet for the first time it's not in real life - it's in a chat room, where they can share their feelings of isolation and frustration away from the conformity-obsessed high school scene. Alex and Kyla quickly forge a friendship that's far from virtual - maybe they're even falling in love. But what happens when the soul mate you've never met moves from online to in person?

Devoured by Amanda Marrone.
Megan’s twin sister Remy died in an accident nine years ago, and she’s been haunting her ever since. Knowing how crazy that sounds, Megan keeps this secret to herself and tries to lead a normal life. Because someone’s definitely in danger...the only question is who?

Summaries from Good Reads. I'm really excited about all of these books - I hope to be able to get my hands on some of them soon! I've heard so many great things about Throne of Glass, it's supposed to be a fantastic book. As for the other three, I've not heard much about them - but they do all look amazing. :) As for my favourite cover; it's a tie between Throne of Glass and Devoured - they're both beautiful and awesome in their own way. ^.^ Have you read any of my finds this week? Let me know! :)
