Friday Finds #26

Friday finds is a meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading, which showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list.

Hey Book Nerds! :D How are you all doing today? I'm good myself, and I had a great time with my friend Sarah, yesterday - it was so good to see her! Hopefully I'll be seeing her again next week before she goes back to University so we can celebrate my Birthday early. ^.^ I've already broken my book buying ban, a lot! I just couldn't help myself, I found some amazing deals on hardback books on Amazon and I had to have them... ^^; I don't know if I'll be doing a book haul yet, maybe I'll wait a few weeks and see if I can continue with the ban, I probably won't though. Unfortunately, I'm running out of room for all of my books! xD I hope you've all had a great week, TGIF! :) It's nearly the weekend. ^.^

Friday Finds

Possessed by Niki Valentine.
Who do you trust when you can no longer trust your own mind? Emma's life has always been a struggle, and now she's been accepted at a prestigious music school, she is determined to excel. But when the impossibly chic twins, confident Sophie and quieter Matilde, come crashing into her life - surrounding her with champagne and parties - they demand Emma's full attention. Then shy Matilde commits suicide and shockingly, her identical twin Sophie flourishes. Now odd things are happening to Emma: blackouts, waking up in strange places, bizarre dreams. Something, or someone, is consuming Emma's mind. Terrified, Emma begins to doubt everything and everyone around her, especially the beautiful Sophie...

Boys, Girls and Other Hazardous Materials by Rosalind Wiseman.
Looking for a new beginning after a terrible mean girl past, Charlie Healey realizes there's no escaping high school drama... Charlie Healey thinks Harmony Falls is the beginning of a whole new life. Middle school was brutal. But high school is Charlie's big chance to start over and stay out of drama, except that on her first day she runs into Will, her ex-best friend, who had moved away. Now a varsity athlete and hotter than Charlie remembered, Will hangs with the crowd running the school. But Charlie doesn't understand their power until an innocent delivery guy falls victim to a near-deadly hazing prank.

Torn between doing what's right and her secret feelings for Will, Charlie must decide whether to turn in her very best friend or live with the guilt of knowing what he did.

If We Kiss (If We Kiss, #1) by Rachel Vail.
What would happen if we kiss?
Kevin led me quickly around the side of the building, then stopped. I managed not to crash into him. I tried to look calm, cool, unperturbed. I told myself not to laugh, especially not a snorting kind of laugh. "Wha . . . what did . . ." And then he kissed me.
If We Kiss is the story of Charlotte (Charlie to her friends), who finds herself falling for a boy who is off-limits. Her best friend is in love with him, and her mother and his father are dating. Still, Charlie can't help but wonder, what would happen if we kiss?

The Almost Truth by Eileen Cook.
Sadie can’t wait to get away from her backwards small town, her delusional mom, her jailbird dad, and the tiny trailer where she was raised…even though leaving those things behind also means leaving Brendan. Sadie wants a better life, and she has been working steadily toward it, one con at a time. But when Sadie’s mother wipes out Sadie’s savings, her escape plan is suddenly gone. She needs to come up with a lot of cash—and fast—or she’ll be stuck in this town forever.

With Brendan’s help, she devises a plan—the ultimate con—to get the money. But the more lies Sadie spins, the more she starts falling for her own hoax…and perhaps for the wrong boy. Sadie wanted to change her life, but she wasn't prepared to have it flipped upside down by her own deception. With her future at stake and her heart on the line, suddenly it seems like she has a lot more than just money to lose....

Summaries from Good Reads. I'm really excited to get my hands on all of these books - may end up getting If We Kiss and Boys, Girls and other Hazardous Materials for my Birthday because they just look fantastic. :3 Possessed looks like a incredible book, and I can't wait for The Almost Truth to come down in price a bit more so I can purchase myself a copy! My favourite cover HAS to be the one on If We Kiss - it's so sweet and cute and pretty. ^.^ Have you read any of my finds this week? Let me know! :)
