Teaser Tuesday #22

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly book meme hosted by MizB from Should Be Reading. Grab your current read, open to a random page and share two “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page - remember, no spoilers!

Hey Book Nerds! :3 I hope you're all doing well and the start of your week is going well. ^.^ I managed to pop into town for an hour or so today and FINALLY managed to get my hands on a copy of Dance of Shadows by Yelena Black. I've been trying to pick it up from my local WHSmith for the past three weeks, but it wasn't in stock. However, today I managed to get my hands on a copy - with the added bonus of a 50% off voucher that a twitter follower told me about! :D That's it for today. :)

"You're a Nightmare," Marrow said as if this explained everything. "Your magic works differently from other magickind. You're the exception to The Will's rule. You just never had occasion to discover before now."

"The Nightmare Affair (The Arkwell Academy, #1)"
by Mindee Arnett.

I was lucky enough to get approved via NetGalley for a copy of this book, and I'm so excited to finally be reading it! I'm about half way through and I think it's absolutely fantastic so far! I love the world building and the characters. :) I can't wait to see where the rest of the story goes. The cover is also gorgeous. ^.^ Have you had the chance to read The Nightmare Affair yet? Let me know!

What are your teasers for this Tuesday? Leave me a comment or a link to your blog post and I'll be sure to check it out! :D Happy Reading. (:

  1. I have a somewhat unrelated question that will prove helpful for me in the future haha...how do you make that nifty gray box containing your teaser in it?

    1. Aha no problem! It's called a blockquote.
      Put <*blockquote>TEXT HERE<*/blockquote> in your main post, and then there's the part you put in your CSS which is;

      blockquote {
      font-family: Georgia, serif;
      font-size: 18px;
      font-style: italic;
      width: 500px;
      margin: 0.25em 0;
      padding: 0.25em 40px;
      line-height: 1.45;
      position: relative;
      color: #383838;
      }

      You just adapt that to your needs! :)
