"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking The Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Hey Book Nerds! ^.^ How are you all doing today? :) I'm doing well, thanks! :P I'm nearly half way through reading Night School at the moment, and I'm really loving it so far - it's SO good! :) As I said yesterday, I'm not all that keen on the main character, Allie - she's just a bit too immature for my liking - but everything else is just awesome. :3 Lastly, I'd like to say - I've reached 100+ followers! :D I'll be holding my giveaway, hopefully, on Saturday - so don't forget to check that out and enter if you want. ^.^ I hope you're all having a great week so far. :)

Title: Conjured.
Author: Sarah Beth Durst.
Expected Publication: August 27th, 2013.
Publisher: Walker Children's.
Format: Hardback, 368 pages.

Eve has a new home, a new face, and a new name—but no memories of her past. She’s been told that she's in a witness protection program. That she escaped a dangerous magic-wielding serial killer who still hunts her. The only thing she knows for sure is that there is something horrifying in her memories the people hiding her want to access—and there is nothing they won’t say—or do—to her to get her to remember.

At night she dreams of a tattered carnival tent and buttons being sewn into her skin. But during the day, she shelves books at the local library, trying to not let anyone know that she can do things—things like change the color of her eyes or walk through walls. When she does use her strange powers, she blacks out and is drawn into terrifying visions, returning to find that days or weeks have passed—and she’s lost all short-term memories. Eve must find out who and what she really is before the killer finds her—but the truth may be more dangerous than anyone could have ever imagined.

EEEK! This book so absolutely amazing! I saw it on someone else's Waiting On Wednesday post last week (I'm really sorry I can't remember who!), and I completely fell in love with it. WHY do all the amazing looking books have to take so long to be released? It's really not fair... ;_; As for the cover, I think it's really cool. I love the simplicity of it and the typography is gorgeous. :3 What do you guys think of the looks of this book, have you heard of it before? :) Let me know! ^.^
