Hey Book Nerds! :D How are you all doing today? (: I finished Dark Inside by Jeyn Roberts earlier today and I thought it was incredible - completely amazing. I honestly can't wait to get my hands on the sequel, Rage Inside. However, at the moment I can't afford to - so I'll have to wait! ^.^ I hope you're all enjoying your week so far and I'll talk to you again soon. (:

Title: Impostor
Series: Variants, #1.
Author: Susanne Winnacker.
Publisher: Razorbill, Penguin.
Expected Publication: July 16th, 2013.
Format: Hardback, 320 pages.

Can Tessa pose as Madison...and stop a killer before it's too late?

Tessa is a Variant, able to absorb the DNA of anyone she touches and mimic their appearance. Shunned by her family, she’s spent the last two years training with the Forces with Extraordinary Abilities, a secret branch of the FBI.

When a serial killer rocks a small town in Oregon, Tessa is given a mission: she must impersonate Madison, a local teen, to find the killer before he strikes again. Tessa hates everything about being an impostor—the stress, the danger, the deceit—but loves playing the role of a normal girl. As Madison, she finds friends, romance, and the kind of loving family she’d do anything to keep.

Amid action, suspense, and a ticking clock, this super-human comes to a very human conclusion: even a girl who can look like anyone struggles the most with being herself.

I think this book looks really interesting! :) It seems like a really unique and interesting plot line as well. (: As for the cover, I kinda like it, but I kinda don't. It's interesting and cleverly done, but It's not the prettiest cover I've seen. It took me ages to realise that the girls eyes were different colours! xD Silly Tiffa. ^^; I hope some of you will add it to your TBR lists. :3

What are you "Waiting On" this Wednesday? Leave me a comment or a link to your blog post and I'll be sure to check it out! :D Happy Reading. (:

  1. I hadn't heard of this one! It's funny, I've seen a few 'broken glass' type covers lately. At first they're interesting, but they get to be a bit much and start looking all similar. The book itself sounds fab, though!
